On Sunday my team and I lost to Portland four-nil. I didn't really like that much. It was a very hard game. But managing my Diabetes was very easy and I didn't have a low. In soccer this season I have had no lows at all during a match. Two hours after the game is when I normally have them. Yesterday I didn't have one though and that was because I had long acting carbs straight after the match which covered me longer than short acting would. We found this out by trial and error so it might not work for you as well as it does for me.
